Charities
The
San Bernardino County Safety Employees Benefit Association (SEBA)
has contracted with Thomas & Kobler, a public relations firm, to
conduct telephone solicitations on an ongoing basis. The purpose is
to raise funds for our Children's Charities fund from which we
donate to various organizations in the County throughout the
year.

Brian Wesley Ray Cystic Fibrosis
Established in 1967, the Brian Wesley Ray
Cystic Fibrosis Center assists Cystic Fibrosis patients and their
families with medical equipment and/or financial aid. Scholarships
are granted to patients and their siblings, and to Center staff
to further their education.
Assistance League of San Bernardino
The assistance League celebrated
their 50th year of community service in 1998. The
purpose of this volunteer organization is to carry out a program
of philanthropic work in the community. At least 50% of all monies
raised are returned to the community through various service
projects.
Debbie Chisholm Memorial Foundation
DCMF was established in 1994 to grant
wishes to children with terminal or catastrophic illness in
Riverside County. In September, 1997, SEBA voted to join forces
with the Riverside Sheriff's Association to expand granting wishes
to children in San Bernardino County as well. SEBA and RSA have
over 3,000 peace officers combined, working together through
personal time and effort to make a difference in the life of a
child.
San Bernardino County Children's Fund
The Children's Fund is the County of
San Bernardino's public and private partnership component of the
Children's Network. It was founded in 1986 and involves over 20
agencies within the county that serves children. The Children's
fund serves children from birth to 18 years of age who are at risk
in our community due to abuse, neglect, poverty or abandonment.
Mothers Against Drunk Drivers
(M.A.D.D.)
Mothers Against Drunk Drivers is a
non-profit organization with more than 40 chapters nationwide.
This is a support group with focus on solution to drunk driving
and drinking problems, and also offers support to those who have
experienced the pain of losing someone to a drunk driving crime.
M.A.D.D. hosts an annual Law Enforcement DUI Awards Dinner to
recognize and thank the law enforcement officers for their efforts
in the fight to stop drunk driving.
